Romans 10:17 says, “Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” God’s Word (written, living, and on-going in our hearts) is where our faith is rooted and grounded. No, we may not be able to “see” God physically but we absolutely can see, hear, and experience the effects of His Word! The same God who said, “Let there be light,” and there was light; says all kinds of great things about you so listen and anchor your trust in His Word.

Psalm 33:8-9 says, “Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the people of the world revere Him. 9 For He spoke, and it came to be; He commanded, and it stood firm.” Why should the whole Earth stand in awe of God and carry a healthy respect for Him? Because of the greatness, the reliability, and the absolute steadfastness of His Word. His Word is alive and active according to Hebrews 4:12 and so that means it is readily available to us today!
