Ecclesiastes 7:1 says, “A good name is better than precious ointment.” Proverbs 22:1 adds, “A good reputation is more valuable than riches.” In today’s culture we don’t hear those things very much but God places real value on the type of person we are publicly as well as privately. It is our attitude and actions behind the message, in support and demonstration of the message, that gives us credibility with those who need to not just hear but SEE the Good News!
The Deeds of the Flesh Vs. The Fruit of the Spirit
In Galatians 5, Paul draws a distinction between the “deeds” of the flesh and the “fruit” of the Spirit. And while much of our world today places a premium on works, God clearly places a premium on fruit (the heart, spirit, and motive) that we do what we do with! Dive into 1 Corinthians 13 as well as Paul makes clear anything that is done should always be done in love. Listen and be inwardly changed!
Keep The First Command First
From worshipping God in the beauty of holiness to loving the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength, this Spirit inspired message is full of God’s heart for integrity in our daily lives. Because we are made in His image inwardly, then sin is not less tragic but more so, for when we stumble we not only sin against God but against our own inner selves. Listen and be set free!

Only seeing Jesus as our Savior and not learning to walk out Lordship, Jesus as life, is a place that keeps transformation from occurring in our lives leaving us at a place of stunted growth unaware of the fruit we are able to bear through Him and becoming people that hear the voice of Jesus and responds to Him.
