How Christ is the Answer to the Agnosticism, Sexism, and Racism of Our Day
America over the years, with the help of politicians and outside special interest groups, has moved towards agnosticism and away from the One true God on which the nation was founded. As children of God though, we have the absolute answer to a culture that increasingly seems to think there is a God but you really cannot know Him or any absolute truth. Listen in and allow the Holy Spirit show you how Jesus Christ swallows up all agnosticism, racism, and sexism!
Leading Change in a Challenging Culture!
Jesus was the perfect balance of grace and truth (loving people without affirming their sin) and He desires to be the same through us. We simply cannot reach or influence those we do not love and so we must have the love of Christ shed abroad in our hearts once again for those lost and broken all around us! We must be the change we want to see extending Christ’s love to people without affirming their sin.
Book of Jude: Perverting the Grace of God
The Holy Spirit walks us through the book of Jude and his warning about those who “pervert the gospel of grace.” We live in a day and age where Jude’s letter has such wisdom that can be applied to not only our culture but the modern church. Jude gives two sets of three examples where God judged sin harshly – not those who were “struggling with sin” but rather who were prideful in their rejection of His truth. The Mystery of the Manna
In Exodus 16 God miraculously sustains the children of Israel for 40 years with a white, flaky substance. In John 6, Jesus reveals the manna was simply a type and shadow of our great need of relying and depending on Him, the true Bread from Heaven! The mystery of the manna reveals: Jesus is the only way to eternal life, we need to partake of Him daily, and His Spirit and Word are life and health to every part of our being. Listen and be blessed!
