This Sunday -- Communication in the home and family

Life and death is in the power of the tongue, we hear it all the time but is that more evident than in the home and family? Not just what we say but how we speak to our spouses and children can have generational impact.

Proverbs 15:1 - A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. In dealing with marriage and family:

1) Honor and validate one another when you communicate. 2) Yelling is not honoring. 3) Communication is not a battle to see who's right. 4) Executing verbal vengeance is not effective communication. 5) Listen w/ the intent to understand.

6) Even if you are 100% right in your point; make sure your 100% right in your attitude
